Job description
Are you a qualified life actuary with knowledge of financial markets alongside geopolitical and regulatory risks?
Then this is an exciting opportunity to join the prudential risk team of a major firm.
In this wide-ranging position, you will play a vital role in role ensuring that our client manages its Prudential Risks in line with the identified and agreed risk appetite, escalating issues and supporting policy and methodology development.
You will also provide advice and support to the business on a wide variety of topics while providing 2nd line challenge, reviewing assumption setting and methodologies and proposals from the wider business functions.
With strong interpersonal and influencing skills, the successful candidate will possess practical knowledge of insurance related processes e.g.: SII model methodology reviews & calibration; capital management; setting assumptions; and experience analysis.
