Job Vacancy: Tax Manager / Adviser

Pontypridd Salary: £25k to £35k p.r.

Tax Manager / Adviser Our client, a well established accountancy practice, is looking for an experienced Tax Manager / Adviser to join theirbusy tax department three days a week. You will take responsibility for a portfolio of personal tax clients including sole traders,partnerships and company directors. Ideally this will be an office based role although one day a week working from home will be considered.
Duties: - Preparation of tax returns using Iris Tax & Accounting software
- Advise clients of tax liabilities, payment deadlines and provide general tax advise during the year
- Prepare P11Ds
- Prepare Capital Gains Tax Returns for property sales and other capital gains
- Liaise with HMRC regarding clients’ tax affairs
- Contacting and liaising with clients to obtain information and complete tax returns
Requirements: - Previous accounts practice experience essential
- Strong IT skills including Word and Excel
- Knowledge of IRIS would be advantageous although training will be given if necessary
- Organised with good communication skills
- Able to work to strict deadlines
This could be a full time role if the candidate is capable of taking on other accounting duties
