Job description
Due to securing a new contract, Ian Williams is seeking an experienced Contract Manager for our Response and Maintenance business based in Sleaford. We are a leading property service business focused on people, sustainability and exceptional customer/ client delivery.
This is fantastic opportunity for a Contract Manager who wants to be part of something new, supported by the structure of Ian Williams, and offering security of up to 15 years.

The Contract Manager role:
Incentivising and motivating directly employed labour whilst on occasion engaging and managing sub contractors for specialist works too
Instilling ownership and responsibility in your teams (Foreperson, Tradespersons) to support the successful delivery of response works to the expected standards, on time and to budget, whilst always ensuring that customer satisfaction and KPIs are achieved.
Ensuring and enforce Health and Safety measures are in place and monitored, taking care of yourself, your team, and your customers.
Build relationships both internally with all teams and with the client; we encourage commercial and operational teams to work very closely together to ensure a successful and collaborative delivery.
What will I bring to the Contract Manager role?
Relevant experience in managing direct trade teams from a similar industry, with experience in response maintenance, disrepair, planned or minor works background
Your ability to multitask, find tangible, workable solutions and manage several KPI variables so that targets are achieved via our delivery model
A sound working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements. An SMSTS is essential.
An understanding of the impact that operations can have on cost and risk management
A trade background (all trades considered to NVQ level 2 or equivalent) preferred but not essential
