About the role

Balfour Beatty Highways maintain, manage and operate major highway networks across the UK and support local authorities creating communities where people want to live work and play.

Our Balfour Beatty Highways business has a terrific opportunity for a Programme Optimisation Manager as part of the Connect Plus Services (CPS) team based in South Mimms, Leatherhead or Dartford.

You will play a key role in improving how we plan and manage projects on the M25 network. Your responsibilities will include:

This role is a perfect blend of technical acumen, data analytics, and stakeholder coordination aimed at ensuring seamless road space booking and network management within the Area 5 network, especially on the M25.

You will also handle other tasks related to program optimization, data management, and problem resolution. Your ability to adapt to evolving needs and maintain composure under pressure will be put to good use.

The M25 is the busiest section of motorway in Europe and requires careful and efficient planning of work in order to deliver over 100m of annual investment in the highway infrastructure each year, in addition to planned and reactive maintenance activity.
