Job description
TES have had an exciting opportunity arise in the Possession Management North Team in that we are looking to recruit a Delivery Manager on a permanent basis.
Applicants will need a ‘can do’ attitude, be quick to learn and be able to multitask while working at pace.
This position is safety critical and therefore subject to drug and alcohol testing and a pre-employment medical.

About You
Candidates must have the following:
- In depth knowledge of Network Rail rules and regulations
- In depth knowledge of possession requirements
- IT Skills
- Managing people and development
- Communication
- Problem solving and decision making
Responsibilities will include:
- Ensure adequate resources are available to deliver the contract requirements
- Compile 4 weekly rosters / monitor contracted hours and ensure effective use of manpower
- Act as a Responsible Manager to the planner and be accountable for the preparation of safe system of work, how the work is planned and delivered.
- Authorise Safe system of Work packs to the standards of NR/L2/OHS/019
- Conduct site audits and T(iii) checks (monthly)
- Conduct pre-possession checks and briefings
- Attend meetings as required
- Conduct safety briefings (monthly)
- Monitor staff competency and training requirements
- Monitor staff working hours to ensure WTD and Hidden regulations complied with
- Ensure adequate supplies of equipment are maintained to required levels
- Contribute to risk assessments
- Arrange for mentoring of staff following training
- Contribute to the development of contingency plans
- Assist in the management and development of the staff
- Carry out team briefing and debriefing
- Assist in the completion of performance reviews
- Carry out duties in line with competencies held.
