Key Responsibilities: As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of innovative medical devices. Your responsibilities will include:
- Mechanical and Product Design: Utilize your expertise in mechanical and product design to create high-quality, precision-engineered components and systems.
- Engineering Qualification: Hold a Bachelor's (BEng), Master's (MEng), or Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Possess a minimum of 2 to 6 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating a strong track record in mechanical design.
- Concept to Manufacture: Showcase your ability to take products from initial concept through the entire manufacturing process, ensuring seamless execution.
- 3D CAD Proficiency: Display excellent proficiency in 3D CAD software such as Solidworks, Inventor, or similar tools.
- Mathematical Skills: Apply strong mathematical skills to perform essential mechanical calculations.
- Bill of Materials (BOM) Management: Manage and maintain BOMs to streamline the production process.
- Sheet Metal Design: Leverage your expertise in sheet metal design to contribute to the development of durable and efficient components.
Key Duties: As a Mechanical Design Engineer, your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Design and Detailing: Create intricate mechanical parts, assemblies, and complete products, ensuring precision and functionality.
- Quality Assurance: Execute design, product, process verification, and validation in accordance with the company's Quality Management System, upholding the highest standards.
- CAD Modeling: Develop detailed design models, drawings, and schematics using 2D and 3D CAD software.
- Prototyping: Participate in the prototyping and assembly of parts and assemblies, facilitating the testing and validation process.
- Project Management: Collaborate closely with the manufacturing team to manage projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project goals.
- Supplier Management: Engage in supplier management activities to secure the necessary components and materials for successful project execution.
