The Sales Director will have a significant commercial healthcare background with experience and knowledge of healthcare logistics. The role is responsible for the development of new business and relationships with Pharmaceutical / Biotech companies, NHS stakeholders and other clients operating within the healthcare sector.
A member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Sales Director is responsible for the management of Business Development activity, which will drive profitable business revenue.
The role will include the retention of commercially sound business and identification of new business opportunities within the healthcare supply chain and/or a clinical homecare markets. These services will offer solutions to Pharma and Biotech clients, NHS procurement teams, NHS Hospitals or private organisations who offer services within the healthcare sector.
The role will require further development of the service propositions alongside a clear sales and marketing strategy, all agreed in collaboration with the leadership team. Service development should utilise the Groups portfolio of products and services. This role coordinates effective contract implementations by working with internal and external stakeholders.
The role must identify additional opportunities to accelerate profitable growth.
