Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: 1 Term (with the possibility of extension)

About the Role: Embark on a fulfilling journey as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, working mornings only (8:30 AM - 12:30 PM) to provide essential support to two lovely children in Year 4 who have autism. This role involves fostering a nurturing environment, assisting with their work, and contributing to their overall growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Individualized Support: Tailor assistance to meet the unique needs of each child, promoting engagement and understanding.
Task Support: Provide guidance to enhance their learning experience and ensure successful completion of tasks.
Positive Interaction: Facilitate positive social interactions and create a supportive atmosphere within the classroom.

About the Candidate:

Empathy: Demonstrate empathy and understanding towards the challenges faced by children with autism. 🌈 Patience: Exhibit patience and flexibility in adapting to the diverse needs of each child.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment.
