Hours & Working Patterns :  40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

Salary : £49,482.30 – £57,502.20p/a

This is an exciting permanent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail, who can provide high-quality financial management to join our “Outstanding” School, which opened in September 2022. We are looking for someone who will develop the strategic direction for the school budget, manage payroll, and run the school’s day-to-day finances.

Dovecote is an Ofsted registered independent special school for students aged 5-18 years with ASD (an associated conditions), or/and social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH), who have been not able to access education and thus their future will start at Dovecote School.

What is required?

• Will provide high-quality financial support and be the main point of contact for educational provisions for all financial and procurement-related activity.
• AAT part qualified or similar the ideal candidate will ideally be able to demonstrate experience in providing financial advice to the education.
• Extensive experience in effective budgetary and risk management and forecasting, delivering management and financial accounts gained in a ‘hands-on’ role.
• Commercially astute and have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions based on accurate and appropriate analysis.
• Flexible in managing, planning, and executing daily, weekly, and monthly workloads in a busy environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
• Have excellent customer focus and a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
