Are you an experienced Head of Technical/ Technical Manager seeking your next interim opportunity, on a 3 day per week basis?

Reed Food and FMCG have been briefed to recruit for a highly popular business, for a Technical Manager on an interim basis. The company operate in a niche sector and are open to looking at Senior Technical Professionals coming from a variety of Food sectors, including Ambient, Fresh, Bakery etc.

The role will report into the Managing Director and will be a predominantly office-based role, liaising with Suppliers, customers and internal team on specifications, complaints and various factors with the QMS systems in place. The role is responsible for ensuring their integrity and maintaining the high standards set by the business.

Interim Technical Manager - 3 days per week

£350-£450 per day

Location: Midlands, Worcestershire

Experience required:

• Previous experience of working in an Interim Senior or Head of Technical Role
• Industry recognised Food qualifications
• Line managing a team

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership
• Maintaining the QMS systems in place
• Technical Product Standards, Specifications, Food Safety, Quality & Integrity
• Third Party representation

• Managing Director
• Senior Technologists

• NPD and Technical Team
• Commercial and Marketing

External:

• Customers
• Suppliers
