Job description

The Sales Assistant is a frontline role (Tier 3) within Claddex Ltd and you will be largely customer facing.
Hierarchy within the business: Tier 1 - Directors, Tier 2 - Senior Management, and Tier 3 - Frontline employees.
Start date: ASAP
Salary rate: c£32,000 PA depending on experience
Probationary period: 6 months from start date
Location: Main office, CV3 2SX
Hours: 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday
Training: Both in and out of house according to requirements
Annual leave: 20 days each year with pay in addition to Public Holidays, annual leave reward scheme in place which sees employees rewarded with up to 5 extra days allowance depending on years of service to the company
Bonus: Annual bonus at discretion of directors
Pension Scheme: Auto enrolment pension scheme after 3 months of employment, 5% company contribution
Working team: In the office on a daily basis, you will be working alongside our sales team, CAD Detailers, accounts team, Project Manager and directors.

Day to day details: The role is varied and you must be flexible and willing to assist other members of your team when required. You will have to have a good telephone manner and be comfortable liaising with customers and suppliers in person and over the phone. Daily tasks will include placing orders, drafting quotes, dealing with customer queries and stock control. Opportunity for progression within the company.
Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Answering phone calls/emails and queries from customers/suppliers
- Placing customer/stock orders
- Drafting quotations for customers
- Stock control
- Assisting with accounts
- Covering for staff on sick leave/absence
- Assisting with advertising and marketing
- Communicating with customers when orders have been placed/are ready for collection etc.
