Job description
Due to continued growth and expansion Aspire people have an exciting opportunity for a teacher to join our fantastic Alternative Learning team in Walsall. Aspire aims to support and engage young people who struggle with mental health, autism, mld & pmld from ages 5 -19.

Minimum requirements:
* QTS or QTLS Qualifications
* Have proven teaching and learning experience.
* Have up to date safeguarding and child protection qualifications/knowledge and experience.
* Must have a child and adult dbs OR willing to apply for one.
The ideal candidate should:
* Have the energy, passion, and drive to create exciting and engaging lessons for our pupils.
* Have initiative, vision, excellent planning, and organisational skills.
* Ideally have experience and a passion for working with students with SEN/SEMH in a 1-1 or small group setting
What you'll be doing:
* Assisting in educational and social development of students.
* Working with children with SEN and/or children who have struggled in a school environment.
* Deliver 1:1 or small group lessons in a variety of non-school settings.
* Supporting children with learning and education based on their individual needs.
