Marketing Assistant - Gravesend - 25k - Mon - Fri - Full Time
This is a really exciting opportunity for someone who is in the early stages of their marketing career, or looking to begin their career in the field. We require someone who is keen to fully immerse themselves in the department, understand our products, the market and learn. You must have a great eye for detail and be enthusiastic - a creative streak will also help and will be put to good use. We need someone who is a good team player and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Full support will be provided by your peers to allow you to grow in your role.
Role and responsibilities:
* Provide administration and support to Marketing team member(s)
* Provide support to Sales teams with mood boards, images and brochures etc.
* Liaise with suppliers including printers, design agencies and publications
* Website content management including images, technical documents and copy
* Copywriting for case studies, press releases, website and all digital communications
* Be prepared to come forward with ideas and suggestions to grow the business
* Attending industry events and exhibitions
* To be fully immersed within the department, with a strong interest to learn and understand more about marketing in general and the construction marketplace
Required skills:
* Marketing qualification preferred but not essential
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
* Experience in using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Premier Pro preferred
* Experience using Mailchimp preferred but not essential
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Strong attention to detail
* The ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines
* An understanding of PPC and SEO strategies
