Woodfield Primary is a friendly school with amazing children. What are we looking for: St Bartholomew’s CE Multi Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, and committed Inclusion Officer. Attendance is an essential aspect of a successful community and academic success. This role makes an important contribution to raising achievement by both improving school attendance and promoting inclusion, by working in partnership with families, external agencies, academia, and the wider community. The role is crucial in supporting improvements in attendance at an individual, cohort, and whole school level. The post holder will be responsible for implementing the school’s attendance procedures and children missing in education protocols, thus improving attendance and will work closely with members of the Senior Leadership Team and Year Group Leaders, to ensure that attendance is monitored effectively, promoted widely, and for pupils whose attendance is a barrier to learning, ensuring that appropriate measurable interventions are implemented. St Bartholomew’s CE Multi Academy Trust are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people/vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to necessary pre-employment checks, including: an enhanced DBS, Prohibition List, Barred List, Childcare Disqualification (where applicable); qualifications (where applicable); medical fitness; identity and right to work.
