Job description
You will be essential to the seamless and effective running of the kitchen as a kitchen assistant. You will be responsible for a variety of duties to maintain the kitchen's general operation, cleanliness, and organization while working under the direction of chefs and kitchen staff. Upholding a high quality of food safety and cleanliness depends on this function.
Tasks required by this job includes:
• Cleaning and chopping food ingredients can be done manually or with a machine.
• Help with dicing, slicing, and cutting veggies and other food products as needed.
• Accountable for bringing food supplies from the pantry to the cooking area as needed.
• To maintain hygienic conditions, keep the kitchen's surfaces, serving spaces, and utensils neat and clean.
• Drinks should be prepared and served with attention to presentation and quality requirements.
• To make sure the necessary materials are always available, keep an eye on inventory levels and restock the service area.
• Take orders from customers for small bites and light refreshments.
