IS THIS SOMETHING THAT INTERESTS YOU?

The Learning & Development Specialist will support an expanding people function at Foods Connected. You will have oversight for the Learning and Development journey for our employees through the employee lifecycle.

As we scale up and wish to improve our employees experience from the onboarding journey through to later stage career development, we require an experienced Learning and Development Specialist who will be both operational on a day to day basis as well as strategic, through collaborating with the other members of the people team and Leadership across Foods Connected to continually evolve and refine the learning resources across the business.

You will be responsible for implementation and management of the content and materials within the LMS system, coordinate new additions to this content, as well as working with the HR Manager to continually evolve the career development and progression pathways for existing and emerging roles through our expansion. As part of a shared services approach to offering people support to the business you will also support other Foods Connected People initiatives both operationally and strategic as these needs arise.

Research of education and certification providers both digitally and in person will also be expected to continually review and assess the suitability based on the business needs to align with career succession planning.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop and deliver a range of learning and Development content, which will meet both individual and organisational goals and needs both in the present and into the future.
• Strategic implementation of the new LMS System (Cypher Learning) inputting content from a range of sources.
• Coordination of internal content creation across Foods Connected Products as well as the applications used across each role.
• Build course content to be approved by internal teams. EG HubSpot Training, Teamwork platform courses.
• Manage external vendor relationships.
• Facilitate instructor-led, face to face and virtual soft skill trainings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with subject matter experts across the business.
• Ensure integrations with HRIS (Bamboo HR) as well as external applications such as Udemy/LinkedIn Learning.
• Alignment with career progression pathways and offering insights to Foods Connected employees .
• Generate regular reporting and analysis to Leadership and Line Managers providing value to performance review cycles.
• Measure training effectiveness and produce analytics to inform any program updates
• Support Talent Acquisition needs when required. Including development of new Job Specifications, Administration of job posts as well as review and selection of applicants.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or similar field.
• 2 years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working towards CIPD Certification
  

Technical Skills Required :

To perform this job successfully, the Learning & Development Specialistshould have experience with:

• Knowledge of Leading L&D initiatives across an international matrix structure.
• Awareness of emerging trends for L&D initiatives. Blending remote and in person learning.
• Experience with management and implementation of an LMS system. IE cypher, Talent LMS, LearnUpon or equivalent.
• Experience within a HRIS such as Workday, ICIMs, Bamboo or equivalent
• Microsoft office 365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Experience supporting other People/HR initiatives when required including but not limited to compliance, Talent Acquisition and Employee engagement initiatives.
