Job description

Have you had experience with personal care? Have you had experience of working with mental health and learning difficulties within your family? Do you enjoy Sports?

Your duties will include:

Providing care for pupils with complex learning difficulties, Autism, medical conditions and physical disabilities.

This role could be suitable for a graduate with an interest in pursuing a career in teaching or learning support. Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children of special educational needs and more specifically, we are specifically looking for support staff with a particular specialism such as ASD, Speech and Language, SLD and other Learning Disabilities. Due to the nature of the students a patient, caring and compassionate approach is needed. We are looking for recent graduates who are looking to build their experience working with SEND pupils and more experienced Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants.

What you need to know about the school:

The school support young peoples to develop their emotional wellbeing and social skills. As a Support assistant you will support the school to develop students to cope better with the things they find challenging whether this is during their school day or at home. The successful Support assistant will help establish positive and healthy relationships, emotional wellbeing and developing social skills. The school are currently on the lookout for an additional teaching assistant to work through us initially with the likelihood of a permanent contract after a specific amount of time. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone who is fancying a change in career or if you have a keen interest in special needs.
- Working hours are 8:30 - 3:15
- Earn around £1400+ per month

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
