We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Band 8B CAMHS Clinical Psychologist for a permanent position in Nottinghamshire. Position Overview: As a Band 8B CAMHS Clinical Psychologist, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality clinical psychology services within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) setting. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers the chance to make a lasting impact on the mental health and well-being of young individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Clinical Assessments: Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify and understand the psychological needs of children and young people.

  2. Therapeutic Interventions: Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, tailored to the individual needs of clients, and contribute to the development of effective care plans.

  3. Collaboration with Multi-disciplinary Team: Work closely with a diverse multi-disciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure integrated and holistic care.

  4. Supervision and Training: Provide supervision and training to junior staff, contributing to the ongoing professional development of the team.

  5. Research and Service Development: Engage in relevant research activities and contribute to the development of CAMHS services, ensuring they align with best practices and the latest advancements in the field.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent qualification.
  2. HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
  3. Substantial experience working within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
  4. Demonstrated competence in delivering a range of therapeutic interventions.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
