Job description
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Part Time SEN Teacher to join a dedicated and talented team. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching and motivated by working with students of all abilities who may have a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and disabilities. The team are committed to delivering inspiring, engaging and creative lessons to all learners, and to helping them reach their full potential.
The successful candidate will be able to adapt any planning set and teach engaging lessons to students with SEN and a range of abilities. They will work closely with the SEN department and senior leadership team to ensure the best outcomes for all students. They will also support with record keeping, assessments and reports associated with learners with SEN. The successful applicant will work both within the classroom and in small groups, with the possibility of home visits as required.Must Be able to work Mon, Tues and Weds!
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a collaborative environment. They must also be able to demonstrate outstanding classroom practice and a firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students. Successful candidates must have a teaching qualification, appropriate SEN qualifications, and an understanding of the SEND Code of Practice. The position is initially part-time, with the possibility of additional hours depending on our learners’ needs. It is an exciting opportunity for someone to make a real contribution to the learning experience of our students with SEN, and is open to newly qualified as well as experienced teachers.
