Job description

The Company

Claims Handler required to join a very well-respected insurance broker due to growth.

The Role

As a Broker Claims Handler you will deal with a wide range of commercial insurance claims, and manage the insurance claims journey from start to finish. Insurance claims will typically include losses for Motor Fleet, Commercial Property, Employers Liability and Public Liability.

You will advise clients on how to make claims, log new notifications, and update all records accurately on the system. You will be required to monitor the progress of the claims and liaise with Insurers and internal colleagues, resolving and negotiating any liability, whilst keeping the client informed on progress.

The Person

The successful candidate will ideally have some previous claims experience with a good understanding of general insurance. Motor insurance claims experience would also be beneficial. You will have the ability to negotiate ensuring claims are resolved expediently that result in fair outcomes. Strong levels of customer service are essential.
