Job description
At Unified Care Services, we are committed to providing exceptional care and support for children in our care. We are currently seeking a highly qualified and dedicated individual to join our team as a Manager for our children's residential services.
The Manager for our children's residential program will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential facility and ensuring that our young person receives the highest level of care and support. This is a vital role within our organization and requires a passionate and driven individual with excellent leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of residential staff to ensure a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for our residents
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for each resident in collaboration with their families and care team
- Create and maintain a positive and inclusive culture within the residential facility
- Monitor and maintain the safety and security of the facility, ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed
- Oversee the budget and financial management for the residential program
- Collaborate with external agencies and professionals to provide comprehensive care for our residents
- Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing training and support to ensure the highest quality of care for our residents
- Address and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise within the residential facility
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation for all residents and staff
Qualifications:
- Level 3 in health and social care (working or willing to work towards level 5)
- 2 years preferred experience in a managerial role within a children's residential program
- Proven experience in managing and leading a team
- Knowledge of child protection and care legislation, policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

Salary is based on a 40 Hour contract overtime is paid at £16 pounds per hours and sleeps ins are an additional £70 per sleep
