Job description

As a Senior Talent Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maximising the careers of our roster of influential social media personalities and content creators.

You will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong relationships with influencers, negotiating contracts, and driving business growth through effective brand partnerships. You’ll need to be passionate about the digital landscape, possesses exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and has a proven track record of success in the influencer marketing industry.

Responsibilities

  1. Talent Management: Oversee a portfolio of influential social media personalities and content creators, guiding their career development, and providing strategic advice and support.
  2. Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities to grow the careers of the influencers, including brand partnerships, sponsorships, endorsements, and collaborations.
  3. Negotiate: Negotiate and finalise contracts, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for the influencers while maximising revenue and value for both the influencers and the agency.
  4. Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with influencers, brands, agencies, and other industry professionals to facilitate collaboration and drive business growth.
  5. Brand Partnerships: Collaborate with influencers to develop creative and strategic brand partnerships that align with their personal brand and target audience.
  6. Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyse the performance of influencer campaigns, providing regular reports and insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
  7. Industry Trends: Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in influencer marketing, and apply this knowledge to drive innovative and effective strategies.
  8. Team Leadership: Responsible for coaching, mentoring and line management of at least one talent executive.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience (3+ years) in talent management, influencer marketing or a related field, with a focus on working with high-profile influencers.
    2. Strong network of contacts, within the influencer marketing industry, including influencers, brands, and agencies.
    3. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence stakeholders, and close deals.
    4. Demonstrated an ability to think strategically and develop innovative influencer marketing campaigns that drive results.
    5. Exceptional project management skills with the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
    6. Analytical mindset, with proficiency in tracking and analysing campaign performance metrics and providing actionable insights.
    7. Knowledge of social media platforms, influencer marketing tools, and industry trends.
    8. Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for the digital landscape.
    9. Leadership qualities, with the ability to mentor and inspire team members.
