Lead Piping Designer
Aberdeen
Hybrid Working
£48-49 per hour
Outside IR35
A well-respected global oil services company with a heritage that stretches' back over 40years. Starting their journey like most, on the North Sea in Aberdeen they now have 45 offshore platforms across four continents and operate over 81 mobile land rigs in the Latin America.
They are looking for a Lead Piping Designer's on a new 12-month minimum contract, which is highly likely to extend due to big project funding. The company work at the forefront of the oil and drilling industry and have recently won awards for their growth and pioneering engineering.
The role will involve using your experience to lead piping design team from concept through to FEED and responsible for the overall direction of the piping design activities with large project' whilst providing technical guidance as required to the piping team.
Skills needed: - Facilitate effective Piping Engineering interface with the project team and the client.
- Capable of producing necessary documents associated with proposals and present concepts to prospective clients.
- Fully converse with 2D CAD applications including AutoCAD3D
- Self-motivated and good communication skills to enable effective team working
- Experience of managing small multi-centre engineering teams.
