Job description
Daniel Owen are currently recruiting for a Head of Finance to work out in Loughton.
Full time office based
- To ensure that the business remains competitive through professional and controlled management of the costings and cash flow.
- Attend Heads of Department meetings.
- Support the FD and act as delegate during leaves of absence.
- Support the FM Director in producing accurate month end reports and other financial reporting.
- Measure FM performance as a separate business unit and ensure fair inter–department charges.
- Leading and developing a team of finance professionals.
- Set realistic timetables for month end and manage achievement of deadlines.
- Record and develop Finance procedures and policies.
- Develop and maintain risk register.
- Prepare business cases for company projects inclu. profit analysis, cash flow impact/proposals.
- Support the FD in understanding job cost reports and trading reviews.
- Support FD in understanding job estimates and estimating processes.
- Review, understand and approve cost adjustment from Commercial Director.
- Prepare management accounts and produce monthly financial reports.
- Explain key monthly variances and help leadership team manage and control costs.
