Hours: 40 hours per week, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, subject to departmental shift patterns, however, evening and weekend work will sometimes be necessary.
Salary: £24,125 per annum
Contract: Permanent, 52 weeks per year
We are seeking a Service Desk Assistant to join our IT Services team. This is a key role within St George’s Weybridge and will provide front-facing IT support to all staff and students at both the College and the Junior School. Excellent customer service skills are therefore an essential requirement.
The Service Desk Assistant is responsible for dealing with all technical requests and queries that are directed to the Service Desk. This will mean multitasking between walk-ins, phone calls, emails, and Teams messages, as well as actively monitoring the Service Desk ticket system to ensure timely escalation and resolution of requests to the appropriate member of the IT Services team.
The role holder will work closely with IT Services colleagues, especially the Director of IT, the Service Desk Manager, as well as Teaching and Business staff, and students, across both schools.
