Job description

This role is fundamental in achieving success through our improvement journey and needs someone who is skilled at building and sustaining internal and external relationships with key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Leadership: Visibility: Ensure strong leadership presence within the services. Knowledge: Possess thorough knowledge of the services and related portfolio areas. Ethics: Uphold the Trust's values, behaviours, and standards, setting an exemplary example for others. Accountability: Challenge unacceptable behaviour and hold individuals accountable. Service Management: Effectiveness: Lead and manage services with a focus on efficiency, safety, high quality, and continuous improvement. Quality: Be passionate about delivering exceptional mental health and learning disability care. Outcomes: Ensure services are working towards and achieving outstanding mental health care results. Compliance: Adhere to the NHS Code of Conduct for NHS Managers, demonstrating high professional standards and accountability Passion for improving mental health services and delivering high-quality care. This position provides an opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced individual to play a significant role in leading and improving mental health services within the Trust Undertakes workforce redesign including formal consultations as required. Represent the organization at stakeholder meetings/forums. As required take a leadership role in a trust-wide Programm Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this role has responsibility for the day-to-day management of all the services within the directorate through the clinical staff and managers. This includes staff management, strategy implementation, service delivery and improvement, clinical governance, financial control, and delivery.
