My client is renowned for excellence in corporate law, particularly in M&A and Venture Capital transactions. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a diverse caseload of M&A and Venture Capital transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, equity financings, and corporate restructurings.
- Provide strategic advice and support to clients on complex corporate matters, navigating legal issues and negotiating agreements to achieve their business objectives.
- Conduct thorough due diligence and risk assessments, identifying potential legal issues and devising effective solutions to mitigate risks.
- Draft and review transactional documents, including shareholder agreements, investment agreements, and disclosure documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues and external stakeholders, including financial advisors, investors, and regulatory authorities, to execute transactions efficiently and successfully.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Solicitor with 3-4 years PQE in corporate law, specialising in M&A and Venture Capital transactions.
- Exceptional academic credentials, including a law degree and strong performance in professional qualifications.
- Proven experience working on complex corporate transactions from inception to completion, ideally gained at a leading law firm.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think strategically and commercially.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
