Children: Girl aged 3.5 years and Boy aged 1
Days/hours: Wednesdays & Thursdays 7:30pm - 5:30pm
Please note: Extra hours could be offered on a Tuesday afternoon if available and ad hoc babysitting
Additional information
A background in Montessori or Pikler would be desirable but not essential
An understanding of child development
Family are wanting someone long term
Ofsted registration required or must be willing to obtain
Driving preferable but not essential due to the location. Nanny can have access to the family car if needed.
Family have one friendly dog
Job Description: Our client is looking to find a nanny who can help them on a part time basis. They would like someone who is experienced, attuned, child-led, respectful and kind. It is important the nanny can provide the children a calm and nurturing environment and promote their educational learning in a holistic way. Currently the girl attends a Montessori nursery during term time on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays so the nanny will predominately be spending one to one time with the boy.
The boy is happy, chilled and super sociable. He loves meeting new people and is always making friends with his cheeky grin. He likes exploring new environments especially when he's with his big sister who he absolutely adores.
The girl is smart, imaginative, funny and curious. She loves being physically active and exploring the outdoors. She also loves quiet book or imaginative role play games.
The family live in a great location with great transport links. An approximate 10 minute drive into Bristol City or a 30 minute cycle ride but also with the countryside on their doorstep. Within the location there are lots of lovely playgroups and activities which the children can experience.
This is a fantastic part time position in a great location.
Job requirement
Minimum of two years employed nanny experience preferably with similar aged children.
Must be willing to attend a registration interview either in person or via online (to be discussed individually) to ensure all documents can be checked.
DBS Enhanced – on the update system or willing to update
12 hours Paediatric first aid training – valid or willing to update
Full valid driving license (driving record will be checked)
Valid Passport
Excellent checkable references from recent & current employment (minimum 2) who can be contacted immediately.
