Job description
Our HNW private clients are seeking a temporary (with an opportunity to become a permanent position) British Child Educator/Tutor for their 2 children aged 5 & 6 Years old.
Key responsibilities
Childcare
• Maintaining a daily routine, whilst following the children’s curriculum and tutoring in the appropriate subjects.
• Adapting the program to suit the needs of the individual child.
• Consistently planning innovative ways of keeping children actively engaged.
• Imparting knowledge to children through fun and play.
• Ensuring the social and emotional growth of the child.
• Addressing the physical needs of the individual child.
• Composing detailed reports for parents.
• Furthering the children’s spoken and written English, along with teaching the ‘proper’ English etiquette.
• Helping the children achieve their developmental and academic targets.
• Helping to cultivate confidence, creativity and appropriate risk taking.
• Helping create a nurturing and stimulating environment for the children.
• Looking after the children’s health and well-being, including administering medicine and updating the family when the children are unwell.
Cleaning & Laundry
• Keeping the children’s areas tidy.
Supporting the Family & Team
• Communicating with the client about the children’s schedule, progress, and well-being.
• Assisting with packing luggage for the children.
• Educating the parents regarding childcare, without overstepping, and providing parental guidance and support as needed.
• Keeping the other team members up to date with the children’s progress and performing a handover with the members of the team when required.
Presentation
• While a uniform is not required, you must be modestly dressed, and clothes must always be freshly cleaned.
• Not wearing strong perfume.
• Keeping nails short, unpolished, clean, and tidy.
• Keeping hair clean and tidy.
Confidentiality
• The client, his family and all their associates require complete confidentiality. The Child Educator will have access to private and confidential information in respect of the client’s residences, as well as the identity and/ or personal affairs of the persons who reside and visit there. The Child Educator will hold this information in confidence and will not disclose anything to a third party, discretion is essential.

£80k
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
