Right now, an estimated 500,000 people in the UK are living with a lifelong disease that many people have never heard of and for which there is no known cure. Because of the stigma and misunderstanding surrounding these diseases, thousands of people are suffering in silence. But they're not alone. We're here for them. And we're not going anywhere until we've beaten Crohn's and Colitis for good.

We’re looking for a Programme Lead to join our team on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week for an 18 month fixed term contract.

Your role will play a vital part in helping us map and better support those with Crohn's and Colitis, utilising technology and cutting edge advancements to drive more understanding and develop a joined-up, engaged community through increased levels of information.

The Role

You will lead a programme to provide a visual representation of the impact on quality of life for those living with Crohn’s and Colitis, a flagship project for the charity.

The dashboard, managed by you and created by external suppliers, will contain health and non-health metrics and will be validated, used by and co-produced with people with Crohn’s and Colitis.

Working with patients, stakeholders and external agencies you will ensure it reflects the top priorities that affect people living with Crohn’s and Colitis in the UK.

You will ensure the dashboard is evidence based and work with partners and external agencies to develop indicators and metrics that measure progress over time.

Additionally, you will:

- Track the operational and budget performance of the programme
- Identify and develop effective relationships with potential collaborators and partners
- Manage external agencies and commissioned research projects
- Represent Crohn’s & Colitis UK at events as required

About You

To be considered as our Programme Lead, you will need:

- Experience using evidence, insight and data to produce reports and presentations in a social or health policy context
- Experience delivering social or health policy projects in a UK context
- Experience delivering projects using project management methodology
- Experience managing external agencies and budgets
