Operations Director - Hybrid Based - Nationwide

Ground Control is looking for an experienced Operations Director to lead our Mech Arb Area of business.
We are an established B2B company who enhance, create and shape outside spaces bringing people, places and planet together.
This brand new role, part of our Rail and Infrastructure SLT, will have responsibility for the growth and productivity of our Mech Arb Business Areas which include Mechanical Vegetation, Sweeping and Road/ Rail Plant.
What You'll Achieve:
- Lead the integration of technical expert business areas to create one high performing team
- Deliver significant levels of growth with full P&L ownership
- Improve business efficiencies in operational delivery whilst maintaining accreditations and exceptional HSQE.
- Responsibility for identifying the right specialist equipment for commercial investment and growth.
Who you are :
- An Industry experienced Ops Director, likely from the Rail, Road or Utilities Sectors or similar.
- Strong Financial and Commercial Acumen with contractual experience.
- Currently leading an established and motivated nationwide team
- Experienced in delivering revenues above £5m
- Proven ability to successfully deliver change
- Happy to travel nationwide
