Your new job as a Binder Technician will be working for an International independent insurance and reinsurance company Lloyd's Broker, who are a leading re/insurance intermediary and corporate advisor/broker dealer, offering bespoke and innovative capital, risk, and program solutions. They provide Reinsurance, Analytics & Advisory and Wholesale service to their clients. Your new brokers have offices worldwide and have grown at a rapid rate in recent years, and is now one of the 10 largest insurance brokers in the world, with ambitious plans to continue growing at an accelerated and unprecedented pace. Your new broker's dedication have a highly unique business model, ownership structure and entrepreneurial culture. Due to growth within the Technical team, they are looking to recruit a Brinder Technician to handle premium processing.

Your new role

Your new job working as a Binding Authority Technician means you will be responsible for supporting the Brokers and Account managers in the London office by performing contract input and invoice production for London produced business. You will also be responsible for managing DCOM registration, including the preparation of binders in line with Lloyd's requirements, as well as endorsements. Ensure all bureau and non-bureau underwriter payments are processed in a timely manner and react to ad hoc queries or provide reports relating to contract and transaction status internally or externally as well as liaising with the internal and external stakeholders, delivering an excellent and consistent service. This role is mainly focused on premium processing. They have a number of complex and standard binders, with worldwide territorial limits. Some binders require ongoing client contact and meetings


What you'll need to succeed


Your previous experience working as a Premium Technician handling Binders will contribute to your success in securing this role. Ideally you will be CERT CII qualified or at least working towards, with strong organisational skills and time management. You will have experience processing Binding Authority contracts to include Bordereaux analysis (Written and Paid), Premium processing, Xchanging submissions / query resolution, FDO submission and assisting cash allocation.You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbally with strong excel knowledge and understanding. You will be a good team player, working well in a team as well as working individually.
