Job description

We are recruiting for an Indoor Finishing Pig Manager for a farm in Yorkshire, with a possible difference!

Our producer is looking for a Manager (or with the potential to be) for their 4000 place finishing unit, with the possibility for that individual, in time, to have the opportunity to take over the business.

So they are looking for candidates with good knowledge and enthusiasm about indoor finishing pigs and be competent & confident to manage the pigs on their own.

The pigs are on an All in/All out basis, fully slatted, vent controlled with wet feeding systems.

Person Specifications:

• Demonstrate a passion for sustainable, high-welfare pig farming
• Must have high welfare standards at all times

Salary: £35,000 DOE

This job also comes with a newly built 3 bedroom house, offered rent free.
