Job description

Senior Accountant / Year End Accountant required to join our client a Financial Services Company located in Warwick on a full time, permanent basis.

In this you will be tasked with the preparation of year end accounts, submitting them and liaising with clients. Also, it could involve annual year end accounts, bringing them up to date and then doing the year end accounts.

The chosen candidate will provide support to the accounting department and also manage a portfolio of clients whilst providing them with accounting services. You will be reporting to the Head of Accounting.

• Bookkeeping
• VAT returns
• Management Accounts
• Payroll
• Completing year end accounts
• Compliance with the company's internal control policies and procedures.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness and completeness of all tasks.

Senior Accountant Position Requirements

• Three or more years of experience within an accounting environment is essential.
• AAT or an Accounting degree is ideal but not essential.
• Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (word, excel and outlook) along with SAGE, IRIS, XERO
• Ability to plan, manage and follow through on required work.
• Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

Senior Accountant Position Remuneration

Salary £35,000 - £38,000

Hours 8am - 4pm Mon - Thurs

9am - 4pm Friday

Annual leave 20 days + bank holidays + 3 days off for Christmas
