Category Marketing Operations Manager Global Export
For our Business Unit Global Export, we are, with immediate effect or as soon as possible, looking for a
Category Marketing Operations Manager Global Export 100% (m/f)
In this position you report to the Marketing Director Global Export, and you are responsible for managing a global export product portfolio and innovation projects with our categories, in cooperation with internal stakeholders across functions and external partners.
Your main responsibilities
- Monitor and improve product portfolio and SKUs performance (recommendation for NPDs, delisting, pricing, etc.)
- Analyze markets, competition and assortment, as well as monitor market development and customer needs for the product category in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
- Reporting and development of recommendations for action in close cooperation with local teams (Hero Sales and Distributors)
- Strategic pricing and price lists
- Lead product innovation process within Global Export division (Business Case development and Gatekeeping Meeting)
- Packaging adaptations (design development, stickers and labels)
- Product development process, tastings, launch plans development with Categories and Agencies and product registration in export markets
- Maintain master data and image databases for export product categories, good for printing, etc.
- Maintain Website, create Newsletter and provide category marketing updates to internal and external stakeholders (e.g. delistings and timings)
- Develop and provide sell-out support (POS kit, E-com content, Product samples, specifications and certificates, etc.)
- Develop sell-in presentations, category and product trainings presentations for distributors / customers and if needed participate in distributors sales meetings
- Develop, maintain and serve strong relationships and partnerships across multiple functional areas (internal sales, marketing, customer service, etc.)
- Secure and maintain sales & marketing activity compliance in regards to IMT program (Innovation Management Tool) and NPD requirements defined by the Group
- Support all operative Hero brand and product segments in cooperation with the interfaces Purchasing, Quality & Innovation and Planning and with our Intercompany partners across the Group
- Higher education degree (university, college, FH/HFW) preferably in Business administration with specialization in marketing or business development
- Ideally 8-12 months successful work record with product portfolio development within FMCG
- Fluent in English (both in oral and written), any other language is an advantage
- Travel activity around 5%

- Effective communication skills - both written and verbal
- Positive mindset combined with cultural sensitivity and resilience
- Self-starter / initiator with high level of integrity and ‘hands on’. Must be able to perform duties independently with minimal direction or supervision.
