Job description
Teaching Assistant for a 3-19 Specialist Provision
We are currently seeking to recruit Teaching Assistants to work Special Schools across Exeter - more specifically those who cater for children and young people aged 3-19.
We currently work with the majority of SEN Schools across Exeter who have requirements for both short term and long-term cover. We can offer candidates experience in a wide range of settings which will enable you to build upon career goals, develop your knowledge and experience and enhance your professional skills.
The ideal candidate will have to be approachable, reliable, and flexible to meet the needs of the schools.
Duties will include:
You will need to have a strong work ethic as you will be undertaking a wide range of responsibilities within the classroom, taking direction from the classroom teacher You will also have experience of working with SEN pupils within an educational setting, and have the ability to build strong rapport with challenging pupils in mainstream and nurture-based provisions.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
