Workchain is a UK-based recruitment agency, specializing in connecting top talent with leading companies. We are currently assisting our esteemed client in the recruitment of a dedicated and reliable Car/Van Driver for a permanent position based in Featherstone.

Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a company vehicle (car/van), adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations at all times
- Plan and execute daily delivery schedules, ensuring timely completion
- Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring secure packaging and effective organization
- Perform routine vehicle checks, including fluid levels, tire pressure, and general maintenance
- Report any vehicle defects or malfunctions promptly to the designated supervisor
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including collecting customers' signatures and updating relevant documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly
- Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle both inside and outside
- Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety, security, and data protection

Qualifications:
- Valid UK driving license, with no more than 3 penalty points
- Proven experience as a professional Car/Van Driver
- Knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations in the Featherstone area
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks, including heavy lifting if required
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic IT skills for record-keeping and delivery tracking purposes

This role: 

Monday - Friday 

Start times vary between 05:30am - 11:30am 

10 hours per day 

Temp-to-perm

One saturday per month 

Immediate start

Weekly pay 

Delivering pharamceutical products to residential drops. 

Must have a clear DBS check.
