Your new company
You will be joining a main contractor based in Birmingham working on a major water framework in the Midlands region. This multi-accredited contractor has a strong pipeline of work across a multitude of different sectors, and they offer excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Project Manager to work on wastewater schemes in the Leicester area.
Your new role
As Project Manager, you will be based on sites in the Leicester area and be responsible for, but not limited to, monitoring and reviewing financial and delivery performance, creating and maintaining programmes, approving subcontractor invoices as well as liaising with the delivery team to ensure successful project delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have an understanding of operational activities within the water sector and be able to work to budgets. In addition, you will have previous experience in project management within the water sector and hold a CSCS card, SMSTS and First Aid qualification. Finally, you will have good interpersonal skills and be comfortable liaising with stakeholders.
