We now have an exciting opportunity for a Chief Marketing Officer to join us in our mission. This opportunity is a chance to work alongside our C-suite and report directly to our Founder and CEO.
As Chief Marketing Officer you will be a transformational leader able to grow and transform the marketing organisation to accelerate the CV-Library Group's, ambitious growth plans, increase market share, and strengthen our brand presence.
You will develop the group's marketing strategy and vision, whilst championing key performance metrics for the business and working alongside our CRO to deliver our international GTM plans, starting with US and Ireland.
Building globally recognised brands:
- You will help us sell brand CV-Library to the world.
- Be an expert marketeer, helping CV-Library to create and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that encompasses digital, MarTech, traditional advertising, PR, and brand development.
- Lead teams in identifying, assessing, and onboarding new tools to update CV-Library's marketing function.
- Collaborate with other departments, including sales, product development, and finance, to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
- Oversee digital marketing efforts and marketing automation to optimise online presence and lead generation across both B2C and B2B.
- Plan, direct and coordinate marketing budgets in accordance with organisational goals.
- Drive customer acquisition initiatives and develop retention strategies to maximise customer lifetime value.
- Oversee, pricing, product marketing, marketing communications, advertising, and public relations.
Leading and building high-performing teams:
- You will oversee the performance marketing team, alliances, affiliates, and programmatic operations, where you will continue to drive and improve traffic acquisition and value for our clients.
- A chief storyteller, you will lead and nurture the creativity of the marketing department to become the mouthpiece for CV-Library.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and accountability. You will know what good looks like, can move fast, and develop and inspire those around you.
- Ensure that the marketing department are focused on achieving the right goals and objectives and that it has the resources it needs to be successful.
Driving strategy and optimising data:
- You will be a growth driver passionate about the continuous evolution of CV-Library’s communication strategy in line with the evolving media landscape and changes in consumer behaviour, leveraging data-based insights to make recommendations for improved effectiveness and efficiency of CV-Library’s brand.
- Oversee your teams in conducting competitor research with a constant finger on the pulse of macro trends for teams across the business.
Requirements
- Must have worked in a senior leadership role for 3 years and have worked in digital marketing for at least ten years, with comprehensive experience in performance marketing.
- Ownership and accountability of a significant marketing budget, you will be responsible for its allocation to strategic initiatives that will support CV- Library in its commercial growth.
- The knowledge and experience to upgrade our MarTech stack and tools and must demonstrate experience in the latest modern technologies.
- Must have experience working in a fast-growth, high-volume, digital-first business or online marketplace with both B2B and B2C environments.
- Experience leading a global marketing strategy, not just in the UK but internationally, including GTM experience in the US.
- Highly competent with data and superb analytical skills.
- Solid performance marketing experience (PPC, SEO, paid search, social marketing, digital marketing).
- Experience with lead gen tools, including, Hubspot, Apollo, Marketo, and Outreach.io.
- Must have used or be responsible for automation platforms such as Braze, Iterable, Bloomreach, CleverTap and Emarsys.
- Experience and knowledge of CRMs, such as Sales Force, Microsoft Dynamics, and Sugar CRM.
- Excellent presentation skills and high comfort level presenting to senior executives, investors, and large audiences.
- Implemented successful programs to consistently test and measure activity across the department.
- Exceptional project portfolio management ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Experience leading teams in building OOH campaigns and creating visible brand exposure through this marketing medium.
