Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience

The role involves working alongside the current 4 vet team in our friendly small animal practice in Falkirk. It is a first opinion practice, where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will share their time between surgery, consultations and working up medical cases.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team. If you are looking to specialise, we can provide that opportunity, whether you would like to study for a certificate or offer specialist services or treatments. This is an ideal position for someone who has mastered treating routine cases and surgeries and is looking for a new start to expand their skills.

Rota patterns that work for you

This is a truly unique flexible role. The role could be anything from 20-40 hours a week to mutually suit you and the practice., the rota pattern is adaptable to suit your needs and can be over 2-5 days a week, including the possibility of working school hours.

There is no out -of hours work required. Occasional Saturday mornings 9am- 12 pm may be required.

Grahams Road Vets is a long-established practice with a loyal customer base. We believe in providing an excellent standard of care to our patients and clients. We have all the usual in-house facilities and equipment aimed to ensure we offer the highest possible standard of care to our patients including ultrasound- including cardiac probe, blood analysers, microscopy, x-rays and more. We have a long standing, faithful client base.

The practice currently has 4 veterinary surgeons including the Clinical Director, one of which has a post graduate certificate in small animal medicine and an interest in echocardiography, another has an interest in ocular surgery and performs acupuncture for pain management. We have 3 RVNs, a student nurse and an animal care assistant. The teams are stable and confident, and the culture in both practices prioritises wellbeing and supporting one another. We are a vet nurse training practices with an emphasis on sharing knowledge and developing each other’s skills.
