The employer is: BMN DISTRIBUTION. The successful candidate will work within the deli department as part of a team. They will assist with the preparation & serving of food within the deli. They will assist with stock rotations and day to day inventory controls, ensure HACCP compliance. They will assist in providing an excellent customer service and delicious food. .

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service to all customers by listening & responding to customer requests in a confident & professional manner.
• Serve excellent food.
• Report any issues to line manager.
• Ensure correct information regarding the ingredients is provided to customers on request.
• Create customer awareness about daily offers.
• Assist with labelling & stock rotations.
• Assist with the day to day inventory controls.
• Follow all practices to ensure compliance with HACCP.
• Any reasonable duty required by the Deli supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Basic numeracy & literacy skills.
• Great communication skills.
• Interest in food & importance of quality & presentation.
• Ability to be friendly & courteous to customers & staff.
• Happy to work in a fast paced environment.
• Being able to be flexible & work as a team.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience in deli setting.
• Basic Food Hygiene Training.

Further Information

The employer is: BMN DISTRIBUTION. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. Salary: 16/17 £5.28, 18/20yrs £7.49, 21/22yrs £10.18, 23/24yrs £10.42 per hour.
