My client is a Charitable Organisation based in central Derby easily commutable from wider Derbyshire and parts of Nottingham. Going through a rapid period of change and growth this is an exciting time to be joining them on their journey.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Head of Operational Finance, the Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for the day to day running of the AR team including the billing function within the company. Duties of the Accounts Receivable Manager include but are not limited to:

• Oversee two team within the Homes and Housing departments
• Weekly 1-2-1's with Team Leaders and Administrators to review and manage KPI's as well as debt position across all areas
  
• Ensure credit checks are completed
  
• Assisting of performing duties of the Accounts receivable administrator when necessary
  
• Review cash journals prior to posting.
  
• Monthly review of Bad Debt provision
  
• Resolve accounts discrepancies and irregularities.
  
• Monthly reviews with area managers
  

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will:

• Have demonstrated experience working in a Finance leadership role
• Have experience working in a high volume Accounts Receivable function
• Have strong technical Accounting knowledge
• Be fully AAT qualified (or have relevant experience)
• Be an excellent communicator both written and verbal
• Adaptable and keen to learn
• Be proactive

What's on Offer

The candidate can expect a salary equivalent £36 -£38,000 + hybrid, flexible working with 3 days home working + excellent pension contribution + 28 days annual leave + other voluntary benefits
