Resident Maintenance Engineer
Location: Luton
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per year

Our clients are currently seeking a highly skilled Resident Maintenance Engineer to join their dedicated team in Luton. They are a facilities maintenance company that look after Electrical, Heating & Plumbing, Air conditioning & Facilities Maintenance. Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems within our facilities.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.
- Perform inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventive maintenance measures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Assist in the coordination of all maintenance and improvements on site.
- Safely and efficiently install, maintain, and repair plant and equipment.
- Carry out diagnostic fault-finding and repair tasks.
- Maintain plant, planned preventive maintenance (PPM), and subcontractor records and paperwork.
- Identify areas for additional works within and outside of specified contractual requirements.
- Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, exceeding customer expectations.
- Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Work in a safe and diligent manner, adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures.
- Attend and fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required.
- Undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required.
Our Requirements:
- NVQ or City and Guilds qualification in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Good general experience in working in occupied premises.
- A good understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
- The ability to communicate at all levels.
- Generally IT literate.
- Clear communicator both orally and written.
- Strong electrical and mechanical background for maintenance, covering site maintenance.
