What will I be doing?

Sitting as a hybrid role between Quantity Surveying and Procurement, this role will utilise its onsite knowledge and understanding of construction projects to influence its buying decisions and capability from a procurement perspective.

Supporting Project Managers to:

• Raise POs and subcontract orders
• Monitor supplier spend
• Claim rebates
• Managing credits on excess materials

Managing the financial status of construction projects by:

• Setting up secured projects onto EQUE 2 construct
• Tender vs Construction analysis
• Implementing and managing CVR process
• Retentions management
• Completing final accounts with Clients
• Produce reporting for senior management team

Based in the Yeovil office, offering a salary of c.£45,000 plus car allowance, this is a full-time office based role.

What are we looking for?

Previous experience of managing the purchase of materials and services in a construction environment.

Experience of liaising with project teams and clients.

Intermediate competence on Excel and Outlook.

A proactive person who is keen to grow within their role over time.
