Job Description:
Airmatic are UK specialists in air movement solutions. As expert ventilation & ducting suppliers, we design, create & install bespoke industrial ventilation ducts. Airmatic find the best possible solutions to resolve any indoor air quality issues by designing, manufacturing and installing high specification ductwork systems and ductwork for hazardous environments.
They are able to offer flexible, balanced and high quality ductwork and fabrication services across the UK. Always using a 360 approach we want to support our companies through each step and you will form part if this process.

Based at their Bury site, they are now looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to join their team. Airmatic provide themselves on offering staff the best training and investing in them to help them progress.

The role will include one day a week day release at Alliance Learning in Horwich to study towards your Metal Fabricator Level 3 apprentice.

Your duties will include;
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Use machine tools such as presses, guillotine, punches
• Use hand and hand machine tools
• Develop pattern development knowledge and skills
• TIG Welding
• Sheet Metal Fabrication

PLEASE NOTE: The Engineering intake will start in September with interviews planned in after May 2024.
