Spencer Clarke Group are currently working alongside a Medium sized Accountancy Practice based on the outskirts of Bradford, who are looking to recruit an experienced Personal Tax Senior!

We are searching for someone who is motviated and ambitious, who wants the opportunity to join a highly reputable Chartered Accountancy Practice and be based within their expanding Tax team.

We are needing someone who is seeking a full time position.
This role will involve the provision of tax compliance and advisory services to individuals while building trusted relationships with clients.
You will perform a client-facing role and work closely with their highly experienced Tax Director on both complex compliance and ad hoc advisory projects.
You will be responsible for:
Preparation and review of Self-Assessment Tax Returns for individuals, partnerships and Trusts, across a wide range of clients
Leading projects of limited scale and complexity and tax planning
Preparation of forms P11d and calculation of benefits in kind for employees
Consistently building and maintaining key client relationships by delivering exceptional client service
Acting as a key point of contact
Researching legislation in relation to tax treatment of items in tax computations and also in relations to special projects and tax planning exercises
Creating solutions for clients on a range of tax matters including Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and dealing with HMRC enquiries
Cross selling and assisting other departments to win new work by actively being involved in new proposals
Working closely with and assisting the Tax Director
What we are looking for from you:
ATT or CTA qualification and demonstrable post qualified experience, or a proven track record of Qualified by Experience
Proven experience in personal tax working in a small, medium, or large firm environment
You must be able to demonstrate a broad and strong technical tax knowledge and also have the ability to deal with complex tax issues
Confident in working with clients actively building relationships to become a trusted advisor
Great organisation and problem-solving skills with a genuine interest and willingness to make a positive contribution
Positive use of initiative
Wide range of communication skills, across all platforms
Flexible and proactive approach to work and the ability to work under pressure
Keen to be part of a dynamic team with a strong desire to coach and develop team members
Ability to use tax software and Microsoft Office products
