The Governors of Our Lady's Catholic College, Lancaster are seeking to recruit a teacher of science who can also teach KS3 maths.
Our Lady's Catholic College is a successful comprehensive school with an excellent sixth form provision situated in Lancaster, Lancashire. We are growing in popularity and currently oversubscribed due to recent improvements not only in results but also in pupils’ behaviour. Parents recognise the excellent standard of pastoral care and we have a culture of high expectations resulting in a happy school to work and learn in.
We belong to a Catholic Teaching Alliance and have a sharp focus on research based CPD which allows our staff to engage in the current approaches to understand how learning takes place. This inspires our staff to give the best possible learning experience to enable our pupils to be more effective learners.

What we can offer you
You will see that our most recent Ofsted inspection took place straight after returning from the Covid 19 lockdown. We feel that we were judged at a time when we were still finding our feet again after a turbulent period that was spent supporting our families. Over the past 18 months we have made many improvements and remain a school that wants to move forward, improve and develop for the sake of our pupils, irrespective of any Ofsted grade. We would love the opportunity to show you what a fabulous school we have. If you would like to join our school, please arrange a visit to come and see the real picture. We are certain that you will be impressed with our wonderful family community.
We encourage applications from ECTs
