Job description

We are seeking a Level 2 or 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a modern nursery setting near Farnham. As a vital part of the team, you'll have the opportunity to inspire young minds, encourage social development, and lay the groundwork for future success.

Your role will encompass creating a curriculum that supports the individual needs of each child, promoting positive behaviour, and collaborating with parents to ensure a holistic approach to early education. We're looking for a candidate with a Level 2 or 3 qualification, a deep understanding of child development, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:

• Follow established daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and structured activities, ensuring a sense of security and familiarity for the children
• Recognize and respond to the individual needs of each child, offering personalized support and encouragement
• Create an enriching and stimulating learning environment by setting up developmentally appropriate resources and displays
• Maintain close communication with parents and carers keeping them up to date on their child's development, milestones, and any significant events

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Previous experience in a day care nursery setting
• A recognised childcare qualification at Level 2 or Level 3
• Familiarity with early childhood education theories, philosophies, and best practices
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in early childhood settings
