Business Administrator Apprentice – Level 3
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Admin Apprentice to join the team and provide administration support for the Project Workers and Finance Manager. Work closely with Project Workers/Finance Manager to ensure the administration side is up to date and completed. To also assist with clients when required when they visit the office which also includes client service charge for the finance department support.
Our client:
As a Registered charity housing association our clients support those homeless or at risk of eviction by providing them with a shared accommodation with support from Project Workers. They help them to move onto independently living/employment and support with finances.
The role:
Possible start date: 29.02.2024
Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm – OFFICE BASED
Total number of hours: 40
- To support the Project Team with the departmental administration
- To promote and provide appropriate information and advice about the Trust's Services and objectives
- To meet and greet all visitors to the Trust and filter appropriately
- To provide secretarial and administrative support which includes typing, minutes taking, filling, data inputting, maintenance admin and management of information held by the company
- To promote the aims, objectives and services of the association to all visitors and clients
- To prepare and assist with the collection of data for such weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports on Voids Service and Housing Benefit Arrears or any other data which may be required
- To perform such other duties, appropriate to the role, as ma be required by the Project Manager/Trust from time to time
- To make regular and early contact with all the clients in arrears through hostel visits (which will be support by a member of the Project Worker team), telephone call, text messages, emails and office interviews (inc. three way meetings with refers)
- Prevent arrears from escalating in line with the Trust's rent collection policies and procedures to prevent serious debt and homelessness
- To undertake other duties which commensurates with skills, knowledge and experience of this post, as and when required by Senior Management Team
- To keep up to date with changes to legislation and the impact of welfare reform on both clients and the organisation
The training you will receive:
- Level 3 Business Administration qualification
- All training is undertaken online, through a combination of self-paced eLearning and live online classes
- Functional skills in English & maths if required
Future prospects:
- Further progression may well be available in other areas within our sector, upon successful completion of Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship
