The Role
We are a growing mid-market professional services organisations with a clear vision to be the no. 1 in the mid-market. We are growing our Accounts & Audit teams and are looking for someone to join us at our city centre office as an Audit Senior Manager.
This person will assist handling the operations side of our Audit portfolio, ensuring that all deadlines are met and that audit files are prepared in line with the International Standards of Auditing.
Ideally, the successful individual will be based in the office 3/4 days a week.

What You'll be Doing
- Responsible for appropriate onboarding and offboarding of clients, ensuring that the department follows all appropriate ISQM1 policies and procedures, including strict adherence to AML requirements.
- Responsible for development of the team, holding regular development meetings with staff to ensure they are on track
- Act as one of the main points of contact within the office for clients and be instrumental in client stakeholder management
- Assisting the RI in the attraction of new clients to the firm and developing high quality tender presentations with support from the Marketing team
- Management of budgets and fee targets on individual and group assignments
- Review work completed by any junior team members, resolving all issues prior to RI review
- Responsible for appropriate training and CPD requirements of all members of the audit team to help ensure high quality audit work
- Attendance at firms internal committee meetings acting as an ambassador of the department
Who We'd Like to Hear From
- Those ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience and 10 years experience in audit
- Have proven experience of working in a practice environment
- Experience in managing an audit portfolio and working at Audit Manager level
- Have a proven and demonstrable track record of maintaining strong client relationships
- Have a proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering client solutions
- Be a motivated individual and able to work alone or as part of a team
- The ability to take responsibility and use own initiative to resolve problems and issues
- Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and clients at all levels
- Strong organisation and planning skills and attention to detail
- The ability to positively embrace changes and new challenges
